MAKING A DIFFERENCE WITH SCHOOL CHILDREN AND YOUTHS

At LETAI, we firmly believe that mental health for all is achievable. According to the World Health Organization, depression affects approximately 1.1% of adolescents aged 10–14 years and 2.8% of those aged 15–19 years. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) also reports that 1 in 6 young Nigerians aged 15–24 are experiencing poor mental health. This stark reality drives our commitment and dedication to making a meaningful impact.

Our mission is to genuinely and wholeheartedly identify and support children, teenagers, and young adults struggling with depression or emotional distress, helping them to rediscover their true identity and self-worth.
